The various Native-American nations to the west should be allied with you allowing you to stab them in the back if you want, or you can take the remaining British settlements in Canada. Once you control Florida and have a police force in place in the southern colonies bring your main army north again.įrom this point you have a wide choice of territories none of which will pose much threat. Do not use auto-battle and you will have an easy time destroying these smaller armies, auto-battle treats reinforcements as far more valuable than they actually are. The AI will generally keep most the armies small and use them to dismantle your improvements in the northern regions, especially Maine and New York. The British will march from Montreal and Quebec primarily, though they may also have invaded part of Iroquois territory.

With Pennsylvania as your primary base build a second army to secure the north while you send your main army south. Once you control Pennsylvania you will be able to sign military alliances with most the tribes easily and you will have cut off the flow of British troops to the southern colonies.

Pennsylvania is the next best target, expect a strong defense unless the British forces inexplicably leave to pillage your countryside. After you conquer each region you need to secure it and rebuild your army as the British forces will be extremely plentiful. After you take Maine you should try to build a full sized army to move against New York. You should strike against Maine first as this is a major hub of British troop movement from Canada. To claim victory you need to control a total of fifteen regions including the eight main colonies. If you do you may force some units to break before they make it up the hill, giving your main force a small chance of victory.Īfter the battle you enter the campaign map again with control of only Boston. To win the battle you need to move your units close together to offset their low morale and hope you can get lucky with your artillery fire. Luckily you do not need to beat this battle as it will have no real effect on the revolution campaign. This battle is extremely difficult and you will most likely lose it.

The third act opens with a scripted version of the battle of Bunker Hill. You should be able to simply overpower all the French forces if you follow the missions as they appear. During this act simply follow the prompts and use an army of fifteen to twenty infantry. During this act complete all the missions assigned to you as they will generate the income to recruit and maintain your army. You are battling as a British colony versus the French in the French and Indian War. The second act is less of a tutorial and more of a true campaign.
